JOE DELUCA, Executive Director

Head Coach

The 2020-2021 season will be Joe's 15th year of coaching club volleyball and 13th year with Gainesville Juniors. Joe has led 12 teams to USAV Nationals earning three top ten finishes in 12U Club and 13U Club. Joe’s teams won the Big South National Qualifier in 2006, 2007 and 2019. Joe is CAP 1 certified and was named the 2007 Gainesville Sun Coach of the Year for 1A through 3A classifications. His 2014 10U Elite team finished 3rd in the country at the AAU National Championships. His 2017 12U Elite team won the American division of the USAV Junior National Championships.

ERIC MARSHALL, Co-Director

Head Coach

The 2020-2021 season will be Eric's 9th season coaching with Gainesville Juniors, he has qualified 9 teams for USAV Nationals. Eric's 11U Elite team became Gainesville's first ever USAV National Championship team, winning the 12U American division at USAV Nationals in 2015. His 2014 13U Elite team finished 3rd in the country at the AAU National Championships. In 2017, his 13 Elite team won the AAU National Championships in the 13 Premier division. In 2018 his 14 Elite team won the AAU National Championships in the 14 Premier division and in 2019 his 15 Elite team won the AAU National Championships in the 15 Premier division. Eric is also the Head Volleyball Coach at Sante Fe High School.

OJ Catalan

OJ played collegiate volleyball at Warner University in Lake Wales, Florida from 2007-2011. In his senior season at Warner, he was selected team captain and named the starting setter.

Sabrina Correa

Sabrina enters her first season coaching with Gainesville Juniors.

Allie Gregory

Allie played high school volleyball in Kentucky, club volleyball at KIVA and played collegiate volleyball at UF. In 2011 & 2013 she was an AAU All-American while in 2015 she was an Under Armour High School Second Team All-American and PrepVolleyball.com Top 250 Senior Ace. Allie led her high school team to the 2015 KHSAA State Championship and was the MVP of the tournament.

Kayla Hess

Kayla played high school volleyball in Riviera Beach at Suncoast High School and club volleyball with Jupiter Volleyball Club. Kayla is also a volleyball coach at Santa Fe High School. With her as a coach, the Santa Fe varsity team was the 2018 FHSAA 6A state runner-up.

Caitlin Lander

Caitlin played volleyball at Santa Fe High School and cub volleyball with Gainesville Juniors. She is a two-time AAU National Champion and a second place finisher at the 2015 USAV Girls' Junior National Championships. Caitlin is excited to coach for GJ and share the love and passion she has for this sport.

Mark Lander

Mark has been involved in area youth volleyball for eight years. In 2013 he helped lead the 10 Black team to the club’s first ever 10U AAU Regional Championship. His 2014 10 Elite team finished 3rd in the country at the AAU National Championships.

Skylar Lopas

Skylar a graduate of Warner University in Lake Wales, Florida. Lopas was a captain of the Royals his senior season on the men's volleyball squad. Skylar is excited to bring his volleyball experience and work ethic to GJ.

Haley MacCallum

Haley enters her first season coaching with Gainesville Juniors.

Alianna Ortiz

Alianna enters her first season coaching with Gainesville Juniors.

Christopher Ortiz

Christopher enters his third season coaching with Gainesville Juniors.

Nicole Stout

Nicole has help to qualify 2 teams to the USAV Nationals. In 2017, 2018 and 2019 her teams won the AAU National Championships in the Premier division.
